Rambling....
Well, I have seen two extremes of people - the ones who are only bothered abt making money, and the other only bothered abt the work. The former run the businesses and the latter do social work for them!
So, which is the right way ??? So long as extremes exist there will always be this imbalance, and this phenomenal world follows (or seemingly so) the theory of entropy. That brings me to the question - are there other worlds??? Today, in fact, I was reading on different planes of existence, beings etc. Well, scary at times, but, a fact if you believe - nothing if you don't believe. And, so what if they are - if the world is phenomenal, everything is, including this blog and me who is writing. So what is there to bother abt!
I guess I kind of shouted a little too much at my roommate for doing her social work! ;-) Uff...rather sad when you think somebody can use a fresher to just extract work!!! I mean it is utterly inhuman treatment according to me! But, nevertheless, the more I am opposed to this, the more she is going to resist - obstinate as she is. But, it beats me - the whole scenario seems exactly like a replica of a page from an Ayn Rand novel - an idealist (she) and a pragmatist (me). Life's realities made me learn that Aunt Ayn Rand was talking of THE road to excellence. For all the excellence that she keeps bragging abt, I have seen greatness, but coupled with complete humility. I guess this is the most beautiful aspect of Indian culture that humility comes naturally to people....they don't brag, nor do they show the pride or arrogance. Most importantly, they do not shun normal people and act as though they were VVIPs.
